Previously, we reported that the first batch of 120 mm mines produced jointly with our partners had arrived to AKM Group-CZ, a.s. warehouses. The other day, representatives of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic and representatives of the End User’s Ministry of Defence visited the company’s warehouses to make a final inspection of our mines and allow them for the international Defence Supplies.
The commission inspected the ammunition, reviewed all the documentation, and as a result, our mines have been approved by the Commission representatives for shipment to the End User.
With the presence of representatives of the Commission, the ammunition was loaded onto 20-tonne long-haul trucks and sent to the End User.
As a reminder, this batch of 120-mm ammunition was produced as part of the AKM Group-CZ, a.s. ‘Production Ramp-up Programme’. The programme was adopted at the end of 2024 and includes the serial production of 120-mm mines, large-calibre machine guns of calibre .50 BMG Browning type, 40-mm NATO standard automatic grenade launchers, as well as 155 -mm artillery shells, automatic and underbarrel grenades.
Soon, we’re expecting the second batch of 120-mm mines to arrive.
