Eurosatory 2026 highlighted an important trend across the defence industry: combat vehicles are being developed faster, proven platforms are gaining new capabilities, unmanned systems are becoming increasingly integrated into dynamic operational scenarios, and exhibition demonstrations are beginning to resemble real- world trials.
More than 500 new technical solutions and a wide range of live demonstrations reflected the same underlying shift: defence is moving towards technologies that can be rapidly adapted, scaled and brought into operational use.
For AKM Group-CZ, participation in Eurosatory 2026 provided an opportunity to be directly at the centre of these developments — engaging with international partners, exploring new types of weapons and equipment, assessing current market trends and identifying promising areas for future cooperation.
From Tanks to Missiles: How the Live Demonstration Zone Has Changed
Eurosatory remains one of the world’s leading platforms for defence and security. In 2026, the exhibition took place from 15 to 19 June in Paris, bringing together manufacturers and developers of aircraft and armoured vehicles, artillery and missile systems, air defence, unmanned platforms, communications, intelligence and surveillance systems, robotics and command-and-control technologies.
Key technological themes included artificial intelligence and digital technologies, stand-off engagement and manoeuvre, air mobility, integrated security and industrial resilience.
One of the most striking features was the new dynamic demonstration zone, which brought visitors closer to the realities of modern combat: trench warfare, three- dimensional manoeuvres involving unmanned systems, and close-quarters combat scenarios.
Among the notable premieres were the new CAPINT tank, combining a German chassis with a French gun system, as well as the HIMARS FLEX concept, which expands the capabilities of the established rocket artillery platform by adding air- defence functions. Thus, a single mobile system can be viewed not only as a strike platform, but also as part of a broader defensive architecture.
The presence of Fire Point was particularly significant. The company made its first appearance at Eurosatory with its own exhibition stand, presenting the FP-1, FP-2 and FP-5 Flamingo systems, alongside the FP-7 and FP-9 ballistic systems.
Counter-UAV solutions were another area of particular interest. AKM Group-CZ has its own specialists working with UAV and counter-drone technologies, making
the rapid development of this segment more than an abstract technological trend — it is already a practical area of professional focus for the company.
At the same time, the AKM team continued to work across more established product categories, including weapons and ammunition.
Another trend was impossible to overlook: the speed at which technologies can be developed and brought into service is becoming almost as important as technological sophistication itself.

Being present in Paris allowed AKM not only to explore the latest equipment and technologies, but also to engage directly in discussions concerning products, supply opportunities and potential areas of cooperation.
An important objective was to assess both the capabilities of individual companies and the current direction of market demand, while simultaneously expanding the company’s network of international partners.
