From February 20 to February 24, the 10th International Defense Exhibition IDEX 2011 was held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC), United Arab Emirates (UAE). This event is considered a key event for the global defense sector. It brings together leading manufacturers of weapons and military equipment, demonstrates advanced technologies and current industry trends.
For our company, participation in such events is not only an opportunity to keep abreast of the latest developments. For AKM Group-CZ it is an important direction for realization of strategic initiatives. During several days of intensive work, our representatives held a series of successful negotiations, which laid the foundation for long-term partnerships and expansion of our activities.
The negotiations covered important topics such as expanding our logistics capabilities, preparing for participation in joint projects, and discussing solutions for rapid delivery of military and dual-use goods.

We would like to note the growing demand for robotics and unmanned technologies, energy efficiency technologies, which promise to change the approach to the operation of military equipment as well as modularity and flexibility. The trend towards adaptable platforms will also affect logistics, where universal solutions for different types of equipment will be in demand.
