A trendsetter and further modernisation vectors in the defence industry, the famous Eurosatory this year gathered more than 1,800 companies from 63 countries, once again becoming the world’s main platform for the presentation of advanced technologies and solutions.
During the days of the exhibition, which lasted from 11 to 15 June, more than 57 thousand professional visitors, including representatives of government agencies, the defence industry and international organisations.
Eurosatory LAB was organised at the exhibition, a zone where startups from 65 countries were presented. Developments in cyber defence, modern intelligence tools, and robotic platforms for performing tasks in complex combat environments were presented.
Among the participants, the world’s leading manufacturers Lockheed Martin (USA), Rheinmetall (Germany), Elbit Systems (Israel), Thales (France) and others stood out. They demonstrated their developments in the field of armoured vehicles, air defence, and REB.
‘International exhibitions like Eurosatory 2018 give a deep understanding of global trends in the defence sector, which subsequently becomes the basis for new strategies for the company’s development and strengthening its position in the field of dual-use shipments,’ said a representative of AKM Group-CZ.
The company focuses on the development of international relations and always strives to stay abreast of all the latest trends in the defence sector, so attending Eurosatory 2018 was a place where both goals were achieved – to hold a series of successful business meetings and discussions on potential cooperation and to see the latest industry trends at first hand.
