The ZU-23-2 has been widely used in military conflicts around the world and has proven its effectiveness. The ZU-23-2 is a powerful air defence system for engaging low-flying targets at ranges up to 2500m, as well as light armoured vehicles and enemy manpower at ranges over 2000m. The system can be used to engage concentrations of manpower located both in open terrain and behind light field-type shelters.
Today, this system is in service in dozens of countries, including the Ukrainian military. Developed in the 1950s, it is still one of the most widespread and versatile systems. The ZU-23-2 is low-maintenance, robust and reliable, easy to transport and can be mounted on a variety of platforms: military vehicles, armoured vehicles or stationary positions. It is chosen for its versatility, high mobility and cost-effectiveness.
The design features of the system include two 23-mm automatic guns, a wheeled carriage for easy transportation and quick transfer from a stowed to a combat position in 35-50 seconds, manual and mechanical guidance drives, and power supply from magazine belts.

Our ZU-23-2 systems are equipped with 2 spare barrels for the right and left guns, spare tools and accessories for maintenance of the system, guns and sights.
To improve the effectiveness of firing in low visibility conditions and at night, AKM Group-CZ has additionally equipped the ZU-23-2 with an ATN LTV ZU 23-2 640 2-16 thermal imaging sight. The device is equipped with a 50 mm lens, has a resolution of 640×480 and a pixel pitch of 12, which provides high detail and clear target recognition:

ATN LTV ZU 23-2 640 2-16 thermal imager has a built-in Ll-on battery that provides 9 hours of continuous operation, 64 GB of video recording memory, and the ability to charge the battery via USB Type C. The device is equipped with a Picatinny bar (MIL-STD 1913) and has an IP67 rating.

Our ZU-23-2 units have never been in use. In 2024, we carried out routine maintenance to replace all rubber and technical products, complete disassembly of the assembly, lubrication of all moving parts, and complete painting. Scheduled test firing was also carried out in accordance with the regulations.
