Another great show in the defence industry took place at EUROSATORY in Paris. This famous defence and protection exhibition in Paris gathered more than 1,572 exhibitors from 56 countries. From 13 to 17 June, EUROSATORY 2016 pavilions were visited by more than 57 thousand people, which proves the importance of the event at the world level. AKM Group-CZ team could not miss such an opportunity to immerse itself in the world of the world’s leading trends and tendencies in the industry.
There were many vehicle presentations at the exhibition: Rheinmetall and ST Engineering presented new armoured vehicles for infantry. Rheinmetall Weapon and Munition also presented a new 130 mm smoothbore tank gun at the show.
Its total weight is 3,000kg including the recoil system – the barrel alone weighs 1,400kg. The full-size Griffon, which will be part of the French Land Army’s Scorpion programme, was also on display for the first time. General Dynamics European Land Systems-Santa Barbara Sistemas presented the artillery observation vehicle variant of the Pizarro family of infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs).

At the exhibition we saw an amazing variety of solutions, from armoured vehicles to high-tech systems for monitoring and surveillance.
