The Special Operations Forces Defence Exhibition and Conference (SOFEX) was held in Amman, Jordan, from 9 to 12 May.This year, 384 exhibitors from 37 countries and 115 military delegations from 58 countries took part. The exhibition confirmed the global interest in mobile, compact and high-tech solutions. Special demonstrations during the exhibition included combat exercises using helicopters, fighter jets and advanced weapon systems, underlining the great universal attention to the training of rapid reaction forces.
‘Given the crisis related to the migration of refugees from Syria, as well as the problem of global terrorism, Europe is actively increasing spending on border security. There is a big surge in the development of monitoring technologies, identification systems. There is also a noticeable increase in demand for weapons and equipment in the world,’ shared the representative of AKM Group-CZ.
